LYOALFA – Laboratory 'floor based' freeze dryer
These units have been developed to suit the needs of research departments requiring larger freeze-drying capacities than can be provided by benchtop units. They are especially suitable for R&D centres in industries, universities, hospitals and scientific institutes, and have been designed according the GLP principles in order to comply with the strictest international standards. Particularly suitable for R&D centres in industries, universities, hospitals and scientific institutes.
They have been designed according to GLP principles and comply with the strictest international standards. These are new generation laboratory units designed and built to very high standards (with quality componentry) to suit modern processes, facilities and operator expectations. > The Lyoalfa 10 has a 16.5L ice condenser capacity (-85°C and -55°C versions) > The Lyoalfa-15 has a 22L ice condenser capacity. (-85°C and -55°C versions) Both use PLC based controls and alarms, with a touch screen user interface. With dimensions of just 765mmW x 705mmD x 1010mmH (+chamber height) they are also very compact and do not waste any of your valuable laboratory floor space. Plus as they are mounted on wheels, relocation is easy. The vertically orientated and very deep ice condenser also doubles as a freezer, allowing you to lower your product down and freeze it before the sublimation process. You can also remove ice quickly (in blocks) shortly after initiating defrost when time does not allow for full defrosting. The operator has the choice of fully-automatic, semi-automatic, or manual modes to complete the lyophilisation process. Monitoring software (Lyologger) can be loaded to you own PC or laptop for process monitoring. Isolation valve between chamber and condenser - This is a very useful feature for R&D as it enables the operator to test the residual product moisture (by monitoring the pressure rise in the chamber while the ice condenser is isolated) and therefore know when the full sublimation process is complete. Side mounted vacuum and drain connection for ease of service Automatic defrost function Chambers with vial stoppering function (standard and large versions) Many other accessories available to accommodate your needs and budget.
